The Michael is a premium studio microphone, hand-built by Travis. It is an exceptionally detailed and sensitive microphone with a wide pickup area, silky high-end, controlled low-mids, and a wide open 3D sound.
The Michael features a modified Schoeps-style transformerless circuit with a 34mm RK-12 style capsule inside a generic BM700 mic body. The circuit is populated with audiophile-grade WIMA MKP film capacitors, Elna Silmic II electrolytic capacitors, and Dale RN & KOA Speer MF resistors.
